Welcome news from the Walk of Fame in Rotterdam!

The Walk of Fame tile of Maria de Lourdes was chosen among the first 50 tiles that will be moved to the new location, the so called "Het hart van Zuid" in Rotterdam South. Three weeks long fans could cast their vote through means of the website of the Walk of Fame.
The tile of Maria de Lourdes ended at a honorary 22nd place that pleased us very much, because it means that many people did not forget Maria and that many voted for her tile. From this place we want to thank all who made this happen.

Carolina de Holanda invited to sing with Pepe Aguilar during environmental summit in Cancún.

Carolina returns to Mexico for climate conference in Cancún!!
Carolina de Holanda recently returned from Mexico where she participated on the great National Independance Day, the 15th September, in Tulancingo Hidalgo. But a few days ago she received a call from the ministry of foreign affairs with the invitation to go back to Mexico and sing on the United Climate Change Conference that starts at the end of november in Cancún. On the 7th of december she will share the stage with the popular mexican singer Pepe Aguilar. Read more, go to 'news' on her homepage.

in the open air theatre Valkenburg!

This year, 2010, México celebrates his bicentenario, which means that México commemorates the 200 years of the beginning of the war of independance. At the same time the mexicans remember the revolution that started 100 years ago. Therefor the Foundation Maria de Lourdes Voice of México, collaborating with the Mexican Embassy, organizes five concerts in the famous open air theatre of Valkenburgwith the artists :

Carolina de Holanda

and Mariachi Sol y Luna of Indra van Hal.

    The concerts, titled 'Viva México',
will take place on the wednesday evenings of the 7th of July, 28th of July, 11th of August and 25th of August from 20.00 till 22.30 hrs and on sunday afternoon 5th of September from 16.00 till 18.30 hrs.

aThis ticket gives you a 15% discount on the day of the concert at the Mexican Restaurant El Castillo, Muntstraat 6 in Valkenburg.
